Day 2, 3, 4: Madikwe Private Game Reserve
In the morning your hired car can be delivered to your hotel, and then set off for the Madikwe Private Game Reserve on the border with Botswana. This reserve is well known for its wild dog population. Together with the family you can enjoy a variety of safari activities. For the children there are special safari programmes where they can learn all about life in the bush. They can go tracking with the game ranger to discover the differences between the various spoors of the animals. Parents can also join in if they like or they can go on a game walk or game drive in an open 4x4 jeep. In the evening enjoy a family South African “braai”, a camp fire under the amazing canopy of stars.

Day 5, 6: Sun City
In the morning enjoy a last safari activity because from here you depart for Sun City.  Sun City was and still is a
great place for local South Africans to also take their children. It is a “city” with hotels, self catering apartments, swimming pools, casinos and plenty of sports facilities and activities on offer. The Palace of the Lost City has even got its own beach with artificial waves and the recreated ”Lost City“  is an attraction in itself.

Day 7 – 11: Cape Town
Today you drive back to Johannesburg to catch a flight through to Cape Town. On arrival at the airport a hired car will be waiting for you.
You can stay in a villa or apartment  whilst you spend the next few days  exploring all  Cape Town has to offer.
You can do any of the following excursions:
• Visit a local township
• Visit a clay factory/pottery studio where you can make your own souvenier
• Visit the  2 Oceans Aquarium ( There is also the possibility for children to overnight there! )
• Take a boattrip from Hermanus to spot whales ( whale season is May – November)
• Visit Spier wine estate outside Stellenbosch and see the cheetahs

Day 12: End of the trip
Today is the end of your fun filled family trip! If you would like to extend your stay a  bit longer  or even combine it with one of our other Go Products, we will happily assist you.
